Ringing in the New Year

Cooper and Brady kindly shared their favorite ride-on: Towmater!

Playing with Brady.

Buddies: B is 7 just months older than Tad. We will soon be in trouble...

Tad and his Godfather, Travis.

Hello fans!

Tad and his Dad.

Grammy and her boys: trying to capture all 3 in 1 photo was a challenge!

Big Boy Coop.

Tad and Pop.

Tubby time! Clearly these kids need some sun.

Our trip to Opryland.

Who is this guy? He doesn't look like a frenchie.

Coop on the go.

Grammy, Pop and the gang.

We headed to Nashville to celebrate New Year's Eve with the Bowles, Grammy and Pop. Tad loved playing with his cousins and all their toys. He especially enjoyed tubby time in the big tub with his buddies. Life back at home is very boring...
The temperatures were very chilly in Nashville, so after a brief trip to the park we headed to Opryland to run around and enjoy the Christmas decorations. At night we had a great time catching up with Meg, Trav, Grammy and Pop. Armed with my ND Snuggie (my favorite Christmas gift!), Gloria champagne and many rounds of Family Feud on the wii, I shocked Johnny and made it to midnight. Tad was anxious to experience 2010 and reminded us of who is the boss when he made an appearance at 3:00 am! Thanks to the Bowles for hosting a very fun weekend.

Snow Day

Last week Tad experienced what may be his first and last snow day here in Atlanta. I was reminded of that fabulous feeling of looking at the window, seeing snow and hearing that school was closed! For the New England disbelievers, the roads were actually very icy. Thanks to Aunt Jeannemarie and Cousin Cooper for the furry snowsuit - Jeannemarie gave it to Coop 2 years ago when he visited New Hampshire and Coop lent it to Tad for his first winter.

Tad has hair!

The new year has brought a head of hair to Tad! He is still waiting for a tooth, but is enjoying his new do. Tad and Johnny indulged me the other night and I "styled" Tad's hair for the photos above.

A Smush Faced Christmas

One of Abby's tricks: sleeping while sitting up.

May I have some Christmas ribs?

Gift opening was very exhausting.

The holidays were very exhausting for the four smush faced doggies. Oscar spent 10 days at Uncle Rocky's Camp for Pugs and Abby and Tuggie joined him for the Christmas weekend. Oscar was very excited to see his beloved Tug, but was rather anxious when Crabby Abby showed up as well. After their Thanksgiving together, a holiday without Abby was on his Christmas wish list. Abby has promised to be nicer to The Pug in 2010. We'll see how that goes... Can you tell we got a new camera for Christmas and needed to practice taking photos?

Ho Ho Ho...

Christmas morning with Tuggie at 665 Edinboro. What did Santa bring us?

Christmas Eve lunch at Goldbergs. Yum. Can't wait to try the bagels.

A mini-Johnny.

Christmas night with sweet Aunt Gwynne.

Action shot.
Gumby checking out his farm from Grammy & Poppa.

Christmas wonder.

Somehow this is the only photo we captured of Elsie (being sweet to Abby) and we never caught Kit! Hopefully Grammy has some photos we can post.

Sweet potatoes!
My parents celebrated my seven month birthday with Grammy & Poppa and some tasty lamb shanks. Maybe one of these months they'll celebrate before I go to bed.

An early Christmas present from Grammy - a Fisher Price Manger! I have loved chewing on baby Jesus and the manger animals this holiday season.

Merry Christmas! We have been remiss in not updating the blog, but somehow the holiday festivities have kept us busy and time has flown by. We headed to Grammy (Pat) and Poppa's for the Christmas holiday weekend and had a great time with Grammy, Poppa, Addie and the Howells/Thompson gang. Kit was walking across the room and up the stairs as she approached her first birthday and Elsie reminded us all about the joy and wonder of Christmas. She was thrilled for Santa's arrival, leaving him a variety of items, including croutons (who knew these were a favorite of the jolly old man) and recited from memory Twas the Night Before Christmas to Tad.
