The temperatures were very chilly in Nashville, so after a brief trip to the park we headed to Opryland to run around and enjoy the Christmas decorations. At night we had a great time catching up with Meg, Trav, Grammy and Pop. Armed with my ND Snuggie (my favorite Christmas gift!), Gloria champagne and many rounds of Family Feud on the wii, I shocked Johnny and made it to midnight. Tad was anxious to experience 2010 and reminded us of who is the boss when he made an appearance at 3:00 am! Thanks to the Bowles for hosting a very fun weekend.
Ringing in the New Year
Snow Day
Last week Tad experienced what may be his first and last snow day here in Atlanta. I was reminded of that fabulous feeling of looking at the window, seeing snow and hearing that school was closed! For the New England disbelievers, the roads were actually very icy. Thanks to Aunt Jeannemarie and Cousin Cooper for the furry snowsuit - Jeannemarie gave it to Coop 2 years ago when he visited New Hampshire and Coop lent it to Tad for his first winter.
A Smush Faced Christmas
Ho Ho Ho...
Christmas morning with Tuggie at 665 Edinboro. What did Santa bring us?
Christmas Eve lunch at Goldbergs. Yum. Can't wait to try the bagels.
A mini-Johnny.
Christmas night with sweet Aunt Gwynne.Action shot.
My parents celebrated my seven month birthday with Grammy & Poppa and some tasty lamb shanks. Maybe one of these months they'll celebrate before I go to bed.
An early Christmas present from Grammy - a Fisher Price Manger! I have loved chewing on baby Jesus and the manger animals this holiday season.
Merry Christmas! We have been remiss in not updating the blog, but somehow the holiday festivities have kept us busy and time has flown by. We headed to Grammy (Pat) and Poppa's for the Christmas holiday weekend and had a great time with Grammy, Poppa, Addie and the Howells/Thompson gang. Kit was walking across the room and up the stairs as she approached her first birthday and Elsie reminded us all about the joy and wonder of Christmas. She was thrilled for Santa's arrival, leaving him a variety of items, including croutons (who knew these were a favorite of the jolly old man) and recited from memory Twas the Night Before Christmas to Tad.
