Christmas Morning

We awoke to a beautiful white Christmas and lots of fun gifts from Santa Claus. The boys had a great time checking out everything. Bikes were the favorite gift - a big boy bike for Coop, a scooter for B and a tricycle for Tad. Henry somehow slept through all the craziness. He is such a laid-back, chubby, sweet boy.

Ho Ho Ho... Santa Claus arrives!

Some photos of Santa's bounty before the boys awake and chaos hits!

Christmas Eve Festivities

Grammy and cousin Henry (almost 2 months old).

An attempt at a group shot.

Brady and Tad sharing some homemade Chex mix.

We headed to Nashville to celebrate Christmas with the Bowles, Grammy, Pop and a special surprise - Aunt Jeannemarie arrived on Christmas! Thanks for traveling such a long way. Above are some shots from Christmas Eve after Mass. Thankfully there aren't any photos from Mass. We forgot the diaper bag in the car and Tad was trying to eat gold fish off the floor (from a kid in the pew behind us) - another proud parenting moment.

A coupe of his own

Whenever we go to a birthday party or the park with a cozy coupe present, Tad goes nuts. This Christmas he received a coupe of his own from Grammy & Poppa - thank you. With the cold temperatures, Tad was left cruising around the house in his fancy new wheels. He has mastered going backwards, but hasn't yet figured out how to go forwards - he needs a lesson from Barney Rubble. Yabba dabba do!

Bah humbug

Abby didn't quite catch the holiday spirit this season...

A Merry Howells Christmas

We gathered at 665 Edinboro the week before Christmas to celebrate the holiday with the Howells gang. Unfortunately, Uncle D had to return to Savannah to work - we missed you, David! The five cousins had a blast tearing into gifts a few days early and we all enjoyed a wonderful dinner of steak and lobster tails. Quite a feast!

An early Christmas treat

In early December, Grammy showed up with an early Christmas treat - Santa's winter wonderland by Fisher Price. Last year Grammy gave Tad the Fisher Price baby manager, so this year we found baby Jesus in Santa's sleigh and Mrs. Claus in the manager. Thanks for the festive gift, Grammy. The next day we attempted to visit Santa at the Marietta Square, but with freezing temperatures and a very long line, Tad didn't make it to say hello to the jolly old man.
